He and Donkey push the door open, to seek out Fiona with a fairy-godmother and a room full of speaking furniture. The fairy-godmother explains that she needs to make them pleased, however, Shrek rudely dismisses her and orders Fiona to pack her bags. Fiona accuses Shrek of not attempting to get alongside her father and Shrek says that whether or not or not her parents prefer it, he is an ogre and that will not change. Fiona tells him to consider the adjustments she made for him and leaves the room, heartbroken. That night time, Shrek can't sleep and appears across the room, finding Fiona's childhood diary.
