During the chaos, John and Mary save a group of infants sliding down the ground like the rest of them. AUTO tries to shut the holo-detector, however, WALL-E bravely holds it up and finally begins to open it. AUTO then tries to destroy WALL-E slamming the holo-detector on high of him, which ultimately crushes him.
A drone named Eve has been despatched from the spaceship to judge conditions on Earth. Wall-E immediately falls in love with Eve and presents the plant in an attempt to impress it. Controlled by its mission, Eve routinely takes the plant back to the spaceship and the lovesick Wall-E goes alongside for the experience. The people they encounter on the spaceship have turn out to be infantilized blobs who do nothing but watch leisure all day. The arrival of Wall-E and Eve units in motion a sequence of occasions which permit the humans to save themselves and Wall-E to get its woman. We encounter WALL-E some seven-hundred hundred years after the spaceships left, and after all the other robots had stopped working because of malfunction.
