In late 2003, Stanton and a few others created a narrative reel of the first twenty minutes of the film. Lasseter and Steve Jobs have been impressed and officially started improvement, although Jobs said he didn't like the title, initially spelled "W.A.L.-E." Fred Willard as Shelby Forthright, historical CEO of the Buy n Large Corporation, proven only in movies recorded around the time of the Axiom's initial launch. Constantly optimistic, Forthright proposed the evacuation plans, then to wash up and recolonize the planet. However, the company gave up after realizing how toxic Earth had turned into. Forthright is the one live-action character with a talking function, the primary in any Pixar movie.
Burtt would select scientifically accurate sounds for every character, but if he couldn't find one which worked, he would select a dramatic if unrealistic noise. Burtt would find lots of sounds by looking at idea artwork of characters earlier than he and Stanton pared it down to a definite few for every robot. In a later model of the movie, Auto comes to the docking bay to retrieve EVE's plant.
